About Semax
Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide based on the ACTH (4-10) fragment with a Pro-Gly-Pro tail that resists enzymatic breakdown. It has no corticotropic activity, and is studied for effects on BDNF and NGF expression and on neuronal survival in ischaemia models. Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a sealed vial, for laboratory research only.
