01About these terms
These terms apply to every order placed on www.charliespeptides.com, in both the UK shop and the International shop. The seller is [registered company name], a company registered in England and Wales under company number [company number], registered address [registered address] (“we”, “us”). You can contact us at hello@charliespeptides.com.
Our Research-use policy and Privacy policy also apply. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
02Who can order
You must be 18 or over to order. By placing an order you confirm that the products are for laboratory research use only and will not be used for human or animal consumption.
You are responsible for checking that you can lawfully buy, import and hold the products where you are.
03Orders and contract
When you place an order we email you to confirm we have received it. This is not an acceptance of your order. The contract between us is formed when we email you to say your order has been dispatched.
We may decline or cancel an order before it is dispatched, for example if an item is out of stock, a price or description on the site is clearly wrong, your payment is not received or does not clear, or we believe our Research-use policy will not be met. If we do, we refund everything you paid, and any points or store credit you used are returned.
04Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. The delivery charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
- UK shop: pay by card through our payment provider, or in Litecoin (LTC).
- International shop: Litecoin (LTC) only. The payment page shows the exact LTC amount to send, and is valid for a limited time.
- Litecoin payments go directly to our own wallet through BTCPay Server. Send only Litecoin, on the Litecoin network, for the exact amount shown. A payment sent in another currency or network, or to an expired payment page, may not be recoverable, although we will help where we can.
There are two discount codes, entered at checkout. CRYPTO5 takes 5% off your products when you pay with Litecoin. Our 10% code, shared in our Discord, takes 10% off your products and can be used once per customer. Both can be used on the same order: the 10% comes off first and the 5% is worked out on what is left. Neither applies to delivery. There is no multi-buy discount. Discounts have no cash value.
05Points, store credit and partner codes
- Reward points: registered customers earn 1 point for every whole £1 of a paid order. Every 100 points can be used for £5 off a later order at checkout. Points have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and are removed if the order that earned them is cancelled or refunded. If you close your account, unused points are lost.
- Store credit: store credit codes (for example, partner commission) can be used at checkout in either shop. Any unused balance stays on the code. Store credit has no cash value. Keep your code private: anyone who has it can use it.
- Partner codes: if you arrive through a partner’s link or enter a partner code, that partner is credited with your order. Partner codes don’t give a discount. The first partner you order through stays linked to your email address for future orders.
We may change or end the points scheme with reasonable notice. Points you have already earned will not be reduced without notice.
06Delivery
UK orders are sent by Royal Mail tracked services, and international orders by our international express courier. We email your tracking number when your order is dispatched. Delivery times shown on the site are estimates. Your order is your responsibility once it is delivered to the address you gave.
International orders: you are the importer. You are responsible for any import duties, taxes and customs charges, and for checking that the products can be lawfully imported into your country. If customs holds, returns or destroys a parcel because of your country’s import rules or unpaid charges, we can’t be responsible. We will help where we can, and if the parcel is returned to us we will refund the price of the products, less the delivery charge.
If your parcel has not arrived 10 working days (UK) or 30 days (international) after dispatch, contact us with your order number. We will investigate with the courier, and replace or refund it if it has been lost.
07Cancellations, returns and replacements
Changing your mind: under UK consumer law you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Email hello@charliespeptides.com with your order number. Return the items within 14 days of telling us, unopened and with every seal intact. You pay the cost of returning them.
Our products are sealed research materials. For health-protection and hygiene reasons, the right to cancel does not apply to any vial or pack whose seal has been broken after delivery.
We refund the price of the returned items, and the standard delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving them back (or of receiving proof that you sent them, if sooner).
Damaged, faulty or wrong items: contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We will replace the item or refund you, and cover any return costs. We are not responsible for items damaged by storage or handling after delivery.
None of this affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
08Liability
Our products are supplied only for laboratory research. We are not responsible for any loss, injury or damage arising from use of the products in breach of these terms or our Research-use policy, including any human or animal use.
If we break these terms or are negligent, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. If you buy for business purposes, our total liability for any order is limited to the price of that order, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business, revenue or data.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited or excluded by law, or affects your legal rights as a consumer.
09Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there. Business customers agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
If something goes wrong, please contact complaints@charliespeptides.com first so we can try to put it right.
