The compound

About Retatrutide

Retatrutide is a synthetic 39-amino-acid peptide that acts as an agonist at the GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors, which is why it is often described as a triple agonist. Research groups use it as a comparator when studying how combined incretin and glucagon receptor signalling differs from single-receptor agonists. It is structurally related to tirzepatide but adds glucagon receptor activity. Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a sealed vial, for laboratory research only.
